Here's what's coming ...

"IMAGE - How to be beautiful without even trying"

Teens struggle with their image.   Everyday, they ask questions that deal with who they are and what they look like.  Questions flood their mind like:
  • What do I look like to others - to myself?!
  • Where to I get my image from?
  • Will people like me if I'm just myself?
  • What is real beauty and how do I achieve it?"

In Todd's new book, he talks about some of the influences affecting teen's self-image and how they can find the true beauty without even trying!

From chapter one:

"I have a confession to make.  It’s a confession that is true not only to me, but to you, to your friends, to your parents and teachers.  The confession is that I am not completely satisfied with who I am.  Shocking!

Maybe you are and that’s cool. But for me, there are parts of what I look like, how I act and what others think about me that I just don’t like.

It’s not that I’m a bad person or that people look at me and throw up.  It’s just that in my mind, I do not think, look or act the way I think I should.  Or more precisely, the way I want to be.

My guess is that somewhere deep inside you, if you think about it, you can relate.  Somewhere along the line, you’ve done something or said something that you’ve regretted.  That time you said what you thought was a joke and no one laughed except you.  That time you snapped at your best friend and they have never treated you the same.  It’s stamped on your memory isn’t it?  So clearly that if you allow yourself, you can even feel the hurt, the embarrassment that it caused you all over again.  Am I right?  Chances are I am.

Not to worry!  There is hope!  And God's has got it all figured out ..."
